Still in the running. A Postal Service retiree and his singing group are still in the running for the $1 million grand prize on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

Harold “Sundance” Thomas, formerly a Memphis, TN, mail handler, is a member of the Masqueraders, a soul trio that had a Billboard hit in 1968, “I Ain’t Got to Love Nobody Else.”

The group appeared last week on “America’s Got Talent,” where their performance of Sam Cooke’s “Bring It on Home to Me” received a standing ovation from the audience.

Simon Cowell, one of the judges, predicted “America [is] going to fall in love with you.”

The performance can be viewed on NBC’s site.

“America’s Got Talent” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT. The Masqueraders are expected to perform next during the show’s live broadcasts, which are slated to begin Aug. 15.

New stamps coming. The Postal Service will release its Flowers From the Garden stamps Aug. 16.

The stamps, which were announced last fall, feature four different floral paintings.

USPS will dedicate the stamps in Sioux Falls, SD. This week’s media advisory has more information.
