A new USPS video shows highlights from the recent dedication of the Disney Villains stamps.
PMG Megan J. Brennan explains how Disney artists went into the studio’s famed vault to create the stamp artwork.
“The result is a unique set of new images created specifically for these stamps,” Brennan says.
The 1-minute, 20-second video also features comments from Mary Walsh, Walt Disney Studios Animation Research Library and Ink & Paint Department managing director.
“One of the reasons why we all enjoy watching the villains so much is because of the time and attention that went into the design and creation of those characters,” Walsh says.
The ceremony was held at D23 Expo, a Disney fan event held in July in Anaheim, CA.
