What does new system mean for you?

APV automates the detection and collection of postage due for packages paid through Click-N-Ship and PC Postage label providers.

The Postal Service is offering employees a list of FAQs about the new Automated Package Verification (APV) system.

APV, which USPS recently introduced, automates the detection and collection of postage due for packages paid through Click-N-Ship or these PC Postage label providers: EasyPost, eBay, Endicia, PayPal, Pitney Bowes and Stamps.com.

Using upgraded mail processing equipment, the APV system eliminates the need for packages paid via Click-N-Ship or PC Postage to have additional postage collected manually through the postage due process.

All employees who identify and collect postage due no longer need to perform this activity on packages that have a PC Postage or Click-N-Ship label.

The FAQs are available on Blue.

Employees who have questions can also refer to the stand-up talk on Blue and the Postage Verification section on usps.com.
