How much do you know about the Automated Package Verification system?

The Postal Service is reminding employees about the recently introduced Automated Package Verification (APV) system.

APV automates the detection and collection of postage due for packages paid through Click-N-Ship or these PC Postage label providers: EasyPost, eBay, Endicia, PayPal, Pitney Bowes and Stamps.com.

Using upgraded mail processing equipment, the APV system eliminates the need for packages paid via Click-N-Ship or PC Postage to have additional postage collected manually through the postage due process.

All employees who identify and collect postage due no longer need to perform this activity on packages that have a PC Postage or Click-N-Ship label.
