Informed invitations

Feature to be offered to PO Box customers

ID PO Box 1
USPS will invite PO Box residential customers to sign up for Informed Delivery in November.

PO Box customers will soon be able to receive digital previews of their incoming mail through Informed Delivery.

The free feature, which the Postal Service introduced nationally this year, allows users to interact with incoming mail and manage packages on a secure online dashboard.

Beginning in November, USPS will send emails to PO Box residential customers to invite them to sign up for Informed Delivery. This email will contain a unique activation code necessary for enrollment.

Business customers who use PO Boxes are not eligible to sign up for Informed Delivery.

Additionally, the Real Mail Notification service that some PO Box customers receive will no longer be offered by USPS. These customers will instead be encouraged to use Informed Delivery.

Employees can sign up for the feature at informeddelivery.usps.com. Sign-up is voluntary and must be completed off the clock.

Employees can also take Introduction to Informed Delivery 101, an optional course through the Learning Management System. The course number is 10026830.

More information is available on Blue and LiteBlue, as well as usps.com, which also has FAQs.
