Open season, Postal Bulletin updates

USPS employees can go online during open season to learn about available health benefits.

Coming soon. Open season — the annual period when Postal Service employees can change their health benefits or enroll in new plans — begins Monday, Nov. 13.

A variety of plans and options are available under the following programs:

  • Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHB)
  • USPS Health Benefits Plan (USPSHB) for non-career employees only
  • Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP)
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)

The Open Season LiteBlue page has information and resources to help you prepare. Additional information will be provided throughout open season, which concludes Monday, Dec. 11.

Get ready. The Postal Bulletin’s latest edition previews preparations for the upcoming holiday season.

For instance, before Thanksgiving, the Postal Service will send a guide to 105.2 million households containing information on mailing packages and mailpieces during the holidays.

The Oct. 26 issue also includes a pull-out section on invalid USPS corporate account numbers.
