USPS managers and supervisors can use an online toolkit to educate employees about this year’s open season benefits enrollment period.

Open season resources. USPS is offering managers and supervisors a convenient place to learn about this year’s open season benefits enrollment period.

The open season toolkit has information on employee benefits, Checkbook’s Guide to Health Plans and more. There are also promotional videos, pamphlets and FAQs, all geared toward simplifying the process for employees.

The toolkit is available on the Systems and Tools Blue page under the “Benefits” heading.

USPS wants managers and supervisors to share the toolkit’s information with their employees and encourage them to learn about the available plans.

This year’s enrollment period runs from Nov. 13-Dec. 11.

More value. If you’re a bargaining unit employee and have a colleague in your workplace who is positive and passionate about his or her work, USPS wants to hear from you.

The organization is extending its nomination period for its Engagement Most Valuable Player (EMVP) program, which recognizes bargaining employees who foster enthusiasm, involvement and commitment in their workplaces.

The new deadline is Jan. 15.

You can nominate a bargaining unit employee in your work group for the program by completing a nomination form on LiteBlue. Nominations will be reviewed by local managers, who will determine the final selections.

The Employee Engagement LiteBlue page has information.
