Protect your information
Remember to protect your information while on-the-go during the holidays.

The Postal Service is advising employees to safeguard mobile devices that contain personal and financial data while traveling this holiday season.

To protect your devices, the CyberSafe at USPS team recommends the following:

• Only connect when needed. Disable your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections when not in use.

• Charge devices at home. Avoid using public charging stations, which could allow hackers to access your text messages, emails, photos and passwords.

• Protect your devices. Use passwords to access your devices and never leave them unattended in a public space.

Also: Remember to secure all sensitive USPS documents in a locked file cabinet before leaving the office for the holidays.

The CyberSafe at USPS BlueLiteBlue and USPSCyberSafe.com sites have more information.
