Influential influencer. Great Lakes Area Vice President Jacqueline Krage Strako was recently named one of the top businesswomen in the Chicago area.

Strako received an Influential Women in Business Award, an honor that recognizes women executives for their professional achievements and community commitment. The Daily Herald Business Ledger gives the awards.

Strako, who began her USPS career in 1989, oversees 61,000 employees in an area that includes 36 million customers.

Safety measures. The CyberSafe at USPS team is reminding employees that secure computer workstations are vital to protecting the Postal Service’s proprietary information.

To protect this information, employees should:

  • Collect documents from printers immediately after printing
  • Erase whiteboards that contain or reference sensitive information
  • Store sensitive information in locked cabinets or desk drawers
  • Shred documents that are no longer needed

The CyberSafe at USPS Blue and LiteBlue sites have more information.
