Strako to serve as acting CCMO

Great Lakes Area Vice President Jacqueline Krage Strako has been named acting chief customer and marketing officer, effective Feb. 3.

In this role, she will serve on the executive leadership team and oversee product development, marketing, sales, industry engagement and customer care.

Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan announced Strako’s assignment this week.

During her 28-year postal career, Strako has worked in operations, finance, budget and industrial engineering. She has led Great Lakes Area since 2012, overseeing more than 61,000 employees across five states.

Erica Brix, Western Area’s operations support manager, will serve as Great Lakes Area’s acting vice president.

The current chief customer and marketing officer, Jim Cochrane, will retire Feb. 2.
