Video highlights Love Flourishes ceremony

Highlights from the recent Love Flourishes stamp dedication ceremony are featured in a new Postal Service video.

The stamp, which was released Jan. 18, is part of the Love series that began in 1973.

The stamp art features colorful flowers surrounding the word “Love” written in cursive script.

“We hope that the Love Flourishes stamp will … serve as a reminder that no matter what the season or reason, flowers — especially on a stamp — are the perfect way to send love,” says Controller and Vice President Maura McDevitt, who led the dedication ceremony in Phoenix.

The 1-minute video also features comments from Mark Hill, president of the Association for Creative Industries, which hosted the ceremony, and Anna Bond, the stamp artist.
