Highlights from the dedication of the latest U.S. Flag stamp are featured in a new Postal Service video.
The stamp was dedicated Feb. 9 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, at an American Stamp Dealers Association show.
“The flag carries special meanings that are as individual as the people it represents,” says South Florida Acting District Manager Timothy Costello, who led the ceremony.
The 1-minute clip also features remarks from Richard Asper, founder of Honor Flight South Florida, a group that helps veterans visit memorials to their service in Washington, DC.
