Video explains rules on outside activities

Woman thinking
A new USPS video aims to educate employees about ethical guidelines for outside activities, such as working for another organization.

A new Postal Service video reminds employees that some outside activities — such as working for a competitor — violate USPS ethics regulations.

The video, available on Blue, highlights actions that employees must follow, including what to do if another organization approaches them with potential job offers. USPS employees must say no to all outside employment opportunities that could conflict with their postal jobs.

The video, part of the “Delivering Ethics” series, also reminds employees to call the USPS Ethics Office at 202-268-6346 with questions about ethics laws, rules and regulations.

Additional information on the series is included in an introductory video on Blue.
