National Postal Forum update, eTravel reminder

Central Plains District Field Account Representative Ashlee Hansen
Central Plains District Field Account Representative Ashlee Hansen has recruited five new customers to attend this year’s National Postal Forum.

Party of five. Ashlee Hansen is the latest USPS employee to earn a complimentary registration to this year’s National Postal Forum.

Hansen, a field account representative for Western Area’s Central Plains District, received the registration after recruiting five customers to attend the forum, which will be held in San Antonio from May 6-9.

Hansen’s efforts included sending customers Priority Mail letters highlighting the conference’s educational workshops and early registration discounts.

She also promoted the forum at Postal Customer Council events.

Right number. USPS is reminding employees that the eTravel system will automatically display a default finance number whenever they create reports and enter individual expenses.

Employees on detail assignments or those who travel for other offices are reminded to manually change the finance number when entering their expenses on eTravel reports.

Additionally, approvers must confirm the finance number to ensure travel expenses are charged properly to eliminate the need for making corrections in the journal voucher transfer process.
