Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.83 percent during the week ending March 30, up from one week earlier.
Dakotas (99.18 percent) topped the districts, while Western (98.15 percent) led the areas.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail. It also helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

Let there be Peace. The Postal Service will release its Peace Rose stamp Saturday, April 21.
The stamp, announced late last year, features a detail from a photograph of one of the world’s most popular roses.
USPS will dedicate the stamp in Shreveport, LA. Last week’s media advisory has more information.
Bolivia service. Mail service to Bolivia, which was suspended last month, has resumed. One exception: Priority Mail International, which remains unavailable. The USPS Service Alerts page has more information.
