A new USPS video aims to educate employees about ethical guidelines for fundraising in postal workplaces.

A new Postal Service video reminds employees that some fundraising activities — even those for nonprofit organizations — may violate USPS ethics regulations.

The video, available on Blue, highlights rules that employees must follow and explains the kind of fundraising efforts that are permitted on USPS property.

The video also notes that while employees may participate in fundraising efforts off postal property, they aren’t permitted to ask fellow employees for contributions. The term “misuse of position” is also explained.

The video, part of the “Delivering Ethics” series, also reminds employees to call the USPS Ethics Office at 202-268-6346 with questions about ethics laws, rules and regulations.

Additional information on the series is included in an introductory video on Blue.
