Employees invited to audition for ads

Winchell Cipriaso, a Lakewood, CA, letter carrier, films a USPS TV commercial in 2016.

The Postal Service is inviting employees to audition for a new TV advertising campaign that will showcase the organization’s efforts to help businesses across the nation.

The audition is open to all employees. No prior acting experience is required.

To audition, follow these steps:

• Create an audition video. In the video, state your name, location, position, how long you’ve been employed by USPS and why you enjoy working for the organization.

• Upload the video. Use the USPS 2018 B2B Employee Casting site to upload your video. You’ll be asked to complete an online form and hit “Submit.” Video uploads are limited to 30 megabytes.

Submissions are due Monday, May 7, at 5 p.m. EDT.

The commercials will be filmed during the second half of May and will begin airing later this year. All applicants must receive approval from their managers before selection and production begins.
