Color of air. A new coloring page is available to help Postal Service employees promote the forthcoming United States Air Mail stamps.
The page shows two planes in flight, including one that pulls a banner proclaiming the 100th anniversary of airmail service.
Earl Musick, an Eastern Area employee engagement ambassador and cartoonist, created the page to share with employees, customers and their children.
The first stamp, to be released in May, will celebrate the first airmail flights performed by Army Signal Corps pilots in 1918. The second stamp, which will mark the Post Office Department’s takeover of the service later that year, will be released this summer.
