A new USPS video aims to educate employees about ethical guidelines for political activity in postal workplaces.

A new Postal Service video offers an overview of the Hatch Act — and the potential consequences when the rules aren’t followed.

The Hatch Act is a law that prohibits federal employees from engaging in political activity while on duty, while wearing a uniform, while on federal property or while inside a federal vehicle.

The video, available on Blue, is part of the “Delivering Ethics” series.

The segment also includes a reminder for employees to call the USPS Ethics Office at 202-268-6346 with questions about ethics laws, rules and regulations.

Additional information on “Delivering Ethics” is included in an introductory video on Blue.
