The Employee Assistance Program is available to USPS workers who need counseling or other services.

USPS is reminding employees that counseling and other services are available through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

If you need to talk to someone, you can call EAP’s toll-free number at 800-327-4968 (800-EAP-4YOU). The TTY number is 877-492-7341. Counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“You never know when you or a co-worker may be faced with a difficult challenge, unexpected event or just need someone to talk to,” said EAP Administrator Deborah Atkins. “EAP is here to make sure you prioritize taking care of yourself.”

The EAP site offers other resources, including online counseling and self-help tools.
