Holiday stamp release dates announced

The Postal Service has announced release dates for this year’s holiday stamps, along with the cities where the dedication ceremonies will be held:

  • Madonna and Child by Bachiacca, Wednesday, Oct. 3, Santa Fe, NM
  • Kwanzaa, Wednesday, Oct. 10, Raleigh, NC
  • Sparkling Holidays, Thursday, Oct. 11, Pigeon Forge, TN
  • Hanukkah, Tuesday, Oct. 16, Newport, RI

The Global: Poinsettia stamp will be issued Sunday, Aug. 26. No dedication ceremony will be held.

USPS announced the Sparkling Holidays stamps in June, while the other holiday releases were revealed last week.

Other stamps that will be available this year include Diwali and Eid Greetings, as well as Nativity, Christmas Carols, Florentine Madonna and Child and previous Hanukkah and Kwanzaa releases, while supplies last.
