Postal employees standing together

See you in Indianapolis. USPS is once again encouraging employees to recruit customers to attend the National Postal Forum.

The mailing industry’s largest annual conference brings approximately 4,000 attendees together each year for educational workshops, certification courses, trade show exhibitions, panel discussions and presentations from Postal Service leaders.

Next year’s event will be held from May 5-8 in Indianapolis.

Through the Employee Customer Recruitment Program, eligible employees receive a complimentary registration to attend the National Postal Forum — including airfare and lodging — when they recruit five qualifying customers to attend.

“It provides a stronger understanding of the innovation USPS is driving and what changes are taking place within our industry. I always gain a greater sense of collaboration from attending,” said Russell Beane, a strategic account manager in Duluth, GA, who participated in the program this year.

The National Postal Forum Blue Page has additional information on the program. Employees can email questions to

Video reminder. Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan’s latest “Business Focus,” which was released last week, is available on the Link site.

Brennan addresses several topics during the segment, including recent additions to the USPS Board of Governors, new pricing, the importance of timely Election Mail and Political Mail processing, the recent Postal Customer Council Week events, and the Postal Service’s efforts to recover from this fall’s hurricanes.

All employees are required to watch the video by Friday, Nov. 9.

On the move. The Postal Service’s Southern Area office has moved. The new address is 660 Data Drive, Plano TX 75075. The office’s telephone numbers have not changed.
