Need to know

Holiday story request, open season reminder

Holiday Link
The Link team wants to interview customers who shop online during the holidays.

Shopping around. The Link team is working on a story about how the online shopping boom is helping to drive increases in the package business.

Do you know a customer who plans to do a lot — or maybe all — of his or her holiday shopping online this year? If you do — and if this person is willing to speak to a Link writer for our story — let the team know.

Send an email to uspslink@usps.gov and a team member will be in touch.

Open season webinars. USPS is holding webinars for employees who want to learn more about the offerings available during this year’s open season.

The next webinar will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, from 3-4 p.m. EST.

Sessions will also be held Thursday, Nov. 29, from noon-1 p.m. EST, and Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 4-5 p.m. EST.

Each webinar will include updates on what’s new and information on the tools and resources available to employees.

Participation is voluntary and off-the-clock.

Employees who wish to participate should go to the Benefits and Wellness LiteBlue page before the scheduled start of each session.

Open season is the annual period when employees can change their health benefits or enroll in a new plan. This year’s open season runs from Nov. 12-Dec. 10.

The Open Season LiteBlue page has additional resources, including FAQs, informational videos and a link to a comparison tool from Checkbook’s Guide to Health Plans.
