Scanning scorecard
Western was the area leader in scanning during the week ending Nov. 16, while Dakotas finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.65 percent during the week ending Nov. 16, up from one week earlier.

Dakotas (98.86 percent) topped the districts, while Western (97.91 percent) led the areas.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail, and it helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

To see the latest results, go to the Informed Visibility site and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.”

Stay Informed. The Postal Service has updated the Informed Delivery Blue page, where employees can go to learn more about the free feature.

The refreshed Blue page offers helpful resources, including links to consumer FAQs, information on the Informed Delivery enrollment app for Executive and Administrative Schedule employees, a sales toolkit, presentations and videos.

You can also review the latest Informed Delivery metrics on users, mailers and sign-ups, which are updated weekly.

Postal Bulletin. The Postal Bulletin’s Nov. 22 issue offers a preview of next year’s mailing promotions for business customers. The publication also includes the latest updates to USPS policies, procedures and forms.

Holiday greetings. The USPS blog is featuring weekly holiday commentaries from the Postal Service’s top executives.

The series kicked off last week and will continue through December.
