Webinar, Alabama service also highlighted

Western was the area leader in scanning during the week ending March 1, while Dakotas finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.76 percent during the week ending March 1, up from one week earlier.

The top three areas were Western (97.97 percent), Eastern (97.91 percent) and Pacific (97.77 percent). The top three districts were Dakotas (99.07 percent), Western Pennsylvania (98.57 percent) and Central Plains (98.45 percent).

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail, and it helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

Inflammation information. The USPS Wellness team will offer a free webinar, “Reducing Inflammation Naturally,” on Tuesday, March 12, from noon-1 p.m. EDT.

The webinar will discuss diabetes, arthritis, cancer and other conditions that are associated with chronic inflammation. A nutritionist will explain dietary changes that can naturally reduce inflammation.

Employees must register for the webinar on the Wellness LiteBlue page. Nonexempt employees may only participate in these meetings off the clock or during authorized breaks.
