Daylight saving time, other topics highlighted

Clock with alarm bells
Daylight saving time returns this weekend.

Let there be light. Daylight saving time begins Sunday, March 10, at 2 a.m.

In areas where the change is observed, most people will “spring forward” and set their clocks ahead one hour March 9 at bedtime.

Clocks will turn back Sunday, Nov. 3, at 2 a.m.

Best booth. The Postal Service had one of the best booths at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, according to an industry trade publication.

Exhibitor magazine ranked USPS among the top 20 booths at the event, where the organization showcased its products and services to an estimated 180,000 attendees. Exhibitor praised the booth as a “sleek, high-tech and educational exhibit.”

The full list and images of the booth are available on Exhibitor’s site.

Post Office Murals. USPS has released additional details about its Post Office Murals stamps.

The 10-stamp pane, which the Postal Service announced in November, will feature Great Depression-era murals at offices in Anadarko, OK; Deming, NM; Florence, CO; Rockville, MD; and Piggott, AR.

The stamps will be released Wednesday, April 10, and dedicated that day at the Piggott Post Office.
