Take time to educate yourself during National Women’s Health Week.

National Women’s Health Week, a time to encourage women to lead healthy lives, is Sunday, May 12-Saturday, May 18.

The U.S. Office on Women’s Health helps organize the week, which calls on women of all ages to be active, eat healthy, take care of their mental health and seek regular checkups from a doctor.

The USPS Wellness team is encouraging Postal Service employees to take time to educate themselves and the women in their lives about important health topics.

For example, because heart disease is a leading cause of death in women in the United States, you could watch the Wellness team’s video to learn the signs of a heart attack.

The Wellness LiteBlue page has more information on women’s health matters.
