The USPS Library will host training webinars Tuesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 22, on using LexisNexis, an online research database available on Blue.
The sessions are open to all employees. Here’s the schedule:
• August 20, from 1-2 p.m. EDT: “Company and Financial” will demonstrate how to use LexisNexis Dossier to generate prospecting lists of companies customized by industry, geographic location or other criteria.
• August 20, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. EDT: “News” will provide instructions on constructing “power searches” and alerts using a database of more than 26,000 sources.
• August 22, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. EDT: “Legal and Legislative” will demonstrate how to use Lexis Advance to search legal and legislative information.
