Recycling update. The proper procedures for recycling used batteries and lamps are outlined in the Sustainable Facility Update’s latest edition.
The article explains that many batteries and lamps can be recycled through a new mail-back option. Instructions on bulk pickups are also described.

One to know about. The Postal Service will soon begin a two-year market test of Plus One, an addressed advertising card that mailers can include with “marriage mail,” a Marketing Mail envelope product that contains multiple advertising pieces.
Plus One is designed to benefit small businesses, medium-sized businesses and mail service providers.
The test will begin Oct. 1.

Are you mobile? USPS wants managers, supervisors and others to tell craft employees about Link mobile, the Link site’s mobile-friendly version.
Link mobile offers the same content available on Link’s desktop version — including news reports, feature stories and informational videos — but in a format that’s easy to read on smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.
The site is helpful to employees who don’t have regular access to postal computers but want to stay in the know.
Employees can access the site at www.usps.link, where they can also subscribe to weekly emails with the latest Link highlights.
