Stamp release dates announced

USPS has announced release dates for several 2020 stamps, including, clockwise from top left, Black Heritage: Gwen Ifill, Wild Orchids, Let’s Celebrate!, Lunar New Year: Year of the Rat, Maine Statehood and Earth Day.

The Postal Service has announced release dates for several of next year’s stamps, along with the cities where the dedication ceremonies will be held:

  • Lunar New Year: Year of the Rat: Saturday, Jan. 11, Monterey Park, CA
  • Black Heritage: Gwen Ifill: Thursday, Jan. 30, Washington, DC
  • Let’s Celebrate!: Friday, Feb. 14, Mesa, AZ
  • Wild Orchids: Friday, Feb. 21, Coral Gables, FL
  • Maine Statehood: Saturday, March 14, Augusta
  • Contemporary Boutonniere and Garden Corsage: Thursday, April 2, Crestwood, KY
  • Earth Day: Saturday, April 18, Denver
  • American Gardens: Wednesday, May 13, Winterthur, DE
  • Voices of the Harlem Renaissance: Thursday, May 21, New York City
