‘I love it’

Peek page profiles proud Postmaster

Cross River, NY, Postmaster Clarence “Thomas” Carson shares his holiday story in a new article on the Peek into Peak LiteBlue page.

For Cross River, NY, Postmaster Clarence “Thomas” Carson, the holidays are a time to be with family, friends, colleagues and customers.

It’s also a time for Carson — who spent much of his adult life homeless and addicted to drugs — to reflect on how far he has come and the special place the Postal Service holds in his journey.

“I run, run, run during the holiday season,” he said. “I’m Santa Claus. I love it.”

Carson is one of several employees who are sharing their holiday spirit through in-depth profiles in Peek into Peak, an employee communications initiative.

You can read the story on the Peek into Peak LiteBlue page, along with a daily feature in which employees explain how they go the extra mile to serve customers during the holidays.
