Developers must finish courses by April 23

Man looks at computer screens.
Two courses for USPS application developers must be completed by April 23.

The Postal Service is offering two mandatory security courses for Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Corporate Developers Registration (CDR) application developers.

Developers must log into the HERO learning portal to complete the training by the April 23 deadline.

Here’s an overview:

• Web Developer. This course focuses on the Open Web Application Security Project.

• Defensive Programming and API Essentials. These courses offer instruction on Application Programming Interface services and how to develop secure code.

Developers who don’t finish the courses by the deadline will have only limited access to the ACE system until the courses are completed.
