Link’s “Heroes’ Corner” column spotlights Postal Service workers who perform heroic deeds.

Link was honored last week for its work to inform — and inspire — Postal Service employees.

Heroes’ Corner,” the column about USPS workers who perform heroic deeds, received the top honor in the article series category in Ragan’s Employee Communications Awards, a national competition for corporate and government communications professionals.

Additionally, Link received an honorable mention in the print or digital newsletter category.

“Every day, the Link team works to provide Postal Service employees with the news and information they need to serve our customers. I’m proud to see Link and ‘Heroes’ Corner’ receive this recognition, and I thank the team and everyone else who helps us tell the stories of the men and women of this organization,” said USPS Corporate Communications Vice President Janice Walker.

The award winners were announced Feb. 28. Other honorees included Bayer, Capital One, Coca-Cola, Liberty Mutual, Visa and Whirlpool.

Ragan, based in Chicago, provides training, newsletters, seminars and awards for people who work in employee communications, public relations, social media and other fields.
