Scanning snapshot. This week’s scanning snapshot looks a lot like last week’s scanning snapshot.
The national rating for the week ending April 17 was 96.85 percent — the same national rating from one week earlier.
The top three areas? Western, Southern and Eastern — which happens to be the same trio that dominated the areas during the previous week.
And the top three districts? Another set of encore performances, this time from Dakotas, Western Pennsylvania and San Francisco.
The week wasn’t a total rerun, though.
Several districts improved their performance, including Kentuckiana, which zoomed into 15th place among the 67 districts with a rating of 97.8 percent, up 1.42 percent from one week earlier, when the district ranked 57th.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
