Postal Service employees can participate in an upcoming webinar to learn the importance of mental well-being and suicide awareness.
Suicide is a serious public health crisis that can have lasting and harmful effects on individuals, families and communities.
The session, “Mental Well-being,” will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, at noon EDT.
GEHA, a not-for-profit provider of health plans for federal employees, will conduct the webinar, which will address the signs of depression, as well as suicide awareness and prevention.
Participants must register before the event on the webinar website. After signing up, directions on accessing the webinar will be emailed to each registrant.
Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
