Chief FOIA Officer’s Award

Employee honored. The Postal Service recently honored Public Relations Manager David Partenheimer for his efforts to respond to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

Partenheimer, who is based at USPS headquarters in Washington, DC, received a Chief FOIA Officer’s Award for fiscal year 2020’s fourth quarter (July 1-Sept. 30).

The quarterly program recognizes postal workers who respond to FOIA requests in a timely manner and help USPS foster transparency.

FOIA is a federal law that allows individuals and organizations to request documents, emails and more from government agencies.
