Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 95.75 percent during the week ending Feb. 19, down 1.54 percent from one week earlier.
The data was collected Feb. 24.
Western Pacific led the four areas with a rating of 96.18 percent, while Southern ranked last with a 94.99 percent rating.
Among the 67 districts, Western Pennsylvania, part of Atlantic Area, ranked first with a 97.42 percent rating, while Mississippi, part of Southern Area, ranked last with an 90.77 percent rating.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

New board members. The National Postal Museum has added three members to its advisory council: lawyer Graham Grady; Rhonda Powell, chief legal officer and corporate secretary for Buzzfeed; and Julia Taylor, general counsel of Eventbrite.
The council provides guidance on issues related to the strategic direction of the Washington, DC-based museum, including recommendations relating to collections, exhibitions and public education.
