Stamp release dates announced

Upcoming stamp releases include, clockwise from top left, Go for Broke: Japanese American Soldiers of WWII, Yogi Berra and Emilio Sanchez.

The Postal Service has announced dates for stamp releases through mid-July, along with the cities where they will be dedicated:

  • Espresso Drinks: Friday, April 9, Seattle
  • Heritage Breeds: Monday, May 17, Mount Vernon, VA
  • Mallard (stamped card): Tuesday, June 1, Fargo, ND
  • Go for Broke: Japanese American Soldiers of WWII: Thursday, June 3, Los Angeles
  • Emilio Sanchez: Thursday, June 10, Miami
  • Sun Science: Friday, June 18, Greenbelt, MD
  • Yogi Berra: Thursday, June 24, Little Falls, NJ
  • Mystery Message: Wednesday, July 14, Washington, DC

Local COVID-19 requirements may require some ceremonies to be held virtually or not at all.

Virtual ceremonies will be streamed on the Postal Service’s Facebook and Twitter pages. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
