Have you ever considered a career in cybersecurity?

The CyberSafe at USPS team works every day to protect the organization’s computer network from multiple security threats.

Throughout October — National Cybersecurity Awareness Month — the team is highlighting various information technology jobs and their roles in securing the USPS network.

Cybersecurity encompasses a variety of skills, including problem-solving and project management.

The U.S. Department of Labor predicts cybersecurity and information technology will be among the fastest-growing and best-paying jobs during the next decade.

In fact, the sector is projected to add an estimated 667,600 new jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Many of the jobs will pay $91,600 on average, much higher than $41,950, the median annual wage for all occupations.
