Open season webinars

Employees can register for virtual sessions

USPS is offering the “Open Season 101” webinar several times during the next few weeks.

The Postal Service is offering a special webinar for employees who want to learn more about their options during this year’s open season benefits enrollment period.

The session, “Open Season 101,” is being offered several times throughout open season, which runs from Nov. 8-Dec. 13.

Each session takes place through the Zoom videoconferencing platform; participants can also use their phone to dial into the meetings (a meeting ID and password are required for each session).

Here’s the lineup:

• Saturday, Nov. 20, noon EST. Participants can log in via Zoom or call 503-336-1236 or 952-229-5070 (meeting ID: 1601903015; password: 502998).

• Tuesday, Nov. 23, 6 p.m. EST. Participants can log in via Zoom or call 503-336-1236 or 952-229-5070 (meeting ID: 1604818015; password: 531998).

Employees can also register for a Virtual Benefits Fair where they can visit virtual booths, attend webinars and download health plan materials on their personal computer or mobile device.

Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.

The Open Season LiteBlue page has additional tools to help employees prepare, including FAQs, informational videos and a link to Checkbook’s Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees, a tool that offers side-by-side comparisons of plans, including premiums, copays and deductibles.
