The Postal Service wants to remind employees with flexible spending accounts, or FSAs, of some important dates:
• Expenses for the 2022 health care FSA and the 2022 limited-expense health care FSA must be incurred between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022.
• Expenses for the 2022 dependent care FSA must be incurred between Jan. 1, 2022, and March 15, 2023.
• Due to recently enacted legislation, if you had a 2021 dependent care FSA, you may continue to incur expenses through Dec. 31, 2022.
Claims for the 2022 benefits period must be received no later than April 30, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.
