TSP schedules courses for March

USPS employees can learn about the Thrift Savings Plan and retirement preparation in March.

Thrift Savings Plan specialists will offer webinars and live question-and-answer sessions in March on the ins and outs of the program, also known as TSP.

Here’s an overview of the webinars and when they’ll be offered (all times are Eastern):

• TSP Investment Funds: An overview of investing to meet retirement goals, TSP funds and more. March 17, 1 p.m. Register online.

• TSP Post-Service Withdrawals: An overview of the program’s post-service withdrawal options. March 24, 1 p.m. Register online.

• TSP Early to Mid-Career Course: An overview of how TSP contributions work, the difference between traditional and Roth contributions, and how to manage a TSP account throughout your career. March 28, noon. Register online.

• Intro to TSP: An introduction for new federal employees. March 30, 1 p.m. Register online.

The password to register for each session is TSPweb.

Participation is voluntary. Postal Service nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
