Are you at risk?

Diabetes webinar is March 21

The March 21 session will offer information on diabetes risk factors.

Postal Service employees can participate in an upcoming webinar to learn about diabetes, a chronic health condition that affects more than 34 million people in the United States.

The session, “Diabetes Awareness,” will be held Monday, March 21, at noon EDT.

Dr. Jared Dirks, medical director for GEHA, a not-for-profit provider of health plans for federal employees, and members of his team will share detailed information on the different types of diabetes, risk factors, and healthy behaviors you can follow to manage the condition.

Participants must register before the event on the webinar website. After signing up, instructions will be emailed to each registrant.

Following the session, every registrant will receive an email with a link to an archived recording.

Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
