Thomas J. Blum has been named acting Labor Relations vice president.
He will report to Doug A. Tulino, deputy postmaster general and chief human resources officer.
A 40-year postal veteran, Blum has held several positions in Labor Relations, including most recently as managing counsel for Southern Area.
He will be responsible for implementation of labor relations policies, programs and standards, as well as leading contract negotiations with Postal Service labor unions and management associations, among other duties.
Blum is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He succeeds Kate Attridge, who departed the Postal Service last month.
