Training reminder

Cybersecurity courses due April 11

The new cybersecurity courses are available on HERO.

Postal Service employees and contractors must complete one of two mandatory cybersecurity courses by April 11.

Both courses provide instruction on how to protect critical Postal Service data from online threats.

Here’s an overview:

• CyberSafe Fundamentals. This course provides training needed to adhere to cybersecurity practices and policy for the protection of USPS electronic information.

• CyberSafe Fundamentals With Applying Data Security. This course also provides training for protecting USPS electronic information, as well as best practices for handling sensitive and sensitive-enhanced information.

The assigned courses are available on the HERO platform.

Employees and contractors who have not completed the assigned course in their HERO Active Learning transcript by the deadline will have only limited ACE system access until the course is completed.

For more information, go to the CyberSafe at USPS Blue training page or send an email to  CyberSafeComms@usps.gov. Employees and contractors should not contact the IT Help Desk.
