Cybersecurity training

Course must be completed soon

USPS business system owners must complete the CyberSafe Assessment and Authorization course soon.

The Postal Service’s business system owners must complete mandatory cybersecurity training by Aug. 15.

Business system owners refer to employees and contractors who are functional coordinators for various USPS systems, such as the Time and Attendance Collection System and VPN Access.

The CyberSafe Assessment and Authorization course will help employees and contractors learn about the policies and standards used to protect information within USPS computer systems.

Participants will also learn about risk management in the assessment and authorization process.

Business system owners can access the course through HERO.

If you have already taken this year’s training, HERO has automatically provided an equivalency credit. You should see the course in your completed training transcript.

Go to the CyberSafe at USPS training page on Blue or email CyberSafeComms@usps.gov for more information.
