Data, Bulletin, webinars also highlighted

Central was the area leader in scanning during the week ending Dec. 2, while Wisconsin finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 96.17 percent during the week ending Dec. 2, down 0.31 percent from one week earlier.

The data was collected Dec. 7.

Central led the four areas with a rating of 98.47 percent, while Southern ranked last with a 95.90 percent rating.

Among the 50 districts, Wisconsin, part of Central, ranked first with a 97.57 percent rating, while California 5, part of WestPac, ranked last with a 92.31 percent rating.

Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.

Delivery data. From Oct. 1 through Nov. 25, the Postal Service delivered 92.1 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.

During the same period, USPS delivered 94.1 percent of Marketing Mail and 86.3 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.

Postal Bulletin. Postal Bulletin’s Dec. 1 edition features information about USPS Motor Vehicle Safety Month, along with the latest updates to USPS policies, procedures and forms.

Open season webinars. The Postal Service will offer employees two webinars on the open season benefits enrollment period on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. Eastern and Dec. 12 from noon to 2 p.m. Eastern.

Both sessions will be offered through the VFairs platform. Participation is voluntary and must be done off the clock.
