USPS offers new approach to career conferences

The Postal Service is offering a series of career conferences to give employees an opportunity to network with USPS leaders and explore job opportunities and advancement.

If you’re a Postal Service employee who is ready to own your career and create a path to your dream job, the organization is encouraging you to attend one of its career conferences.

This year, USPS will offer employees enhanced experiences at the conferences, including networking opportunities and interactive sessions designed to equip participants with the tools and resources to take the next step in their professional development.

“Our organization has a long history of developing and promoting its employees from within. Attending a career conference is a great opportunity for you to learn more about what career opportunities the Postal Service has to offer you and gain some skills and tools to help you get there,” said Jenny Utterback, Organization Development vice president.

The theme of this year’s conferences will be “Delivering Your Best.” Each event will allow participants to:

• Network with leaders from throughout USPS;

• Explore career opportunities and advancement;

• Learn about potential career paths; and

• Attend sessions to learn about applying for jobs, interviewing, career development tools
and more.
