The April 10 session will address the importance of digestive health.

Postal Service employees can participate in an upcoming webinar on the importance of the microbiome, those microorganisms living in our intestines that affect digestion, immunity, and heart and brain health.

The session, “Microbiome Makeover: Check In With Your GI Health,” will be held April 10 at noon Eastern.

The presentation will be led by Angela Parreco, a nutritionist at Giant Food, and Coletta Meyer, manager of health engagement at GEHA, a not-for-profit provider of health plans for federal employees.

Advance registration is required. Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
