USPS Loyalty Program is changing

Loyalty Program participants will no longer be able to earn points to obtain credits toward Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express purchases.

The Postal Service is phasing out its USPS Loyalty Program credits for business customers in favor of the updated Click-N-Ship service.

USPS Loyalty Program participants have been able to earn credits using Click-N-Ship to buy Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express services.

But as of June 10, program participants will no longer be able to accrue loyalty points to obtain credits.

USPS Loyalty Program participants will be able to continue to use their earned credits on Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express purchases until June 10, 2024.

Program participants are being told of the changes through a series of emails and other online communications, which began May 11.

The USPS Loyalty Program has more than 1.2 million participants and has brought in more than $600 million in Priority Mail shipping revenue.

The program, which was launched in mid-2020, was the first of its kind in the organization’s history and was expanded to offer customers three tiers — base, silver and gold — based on spending. The three-tier structure ends on June 10 as well.

USPS Loyalty Program participants are eligible for discounted prices, regardless of their previous tier, when they upgrade to the enhanced Click-N-Ship, version 2 — also known as CNSv2 — which offers more competitive pricing.

“We’re making some exciting improvements to the USPS Loyalty Program to serve business customers better,” said Sheila Holman, marketing vice president.

More changes to the USPS Loyalty Program are expected to be introduced in 2024.
